Inspired by gratitude for my friends, the confusion of city life, how I can go from gunshots and unmaintained city streets to swanky jazz bars and pretty tourist areas in less than 20 minutes, this really creepy and unsettling feeling, feeling totally lost, bikerides on the lakeshore on a calm, warm summer evening... unexpected love, the city at night, all the faces, music, wondering what is going on, laughing at myself, trying to get away, knowing it will probably be all okay in the end, which I hope is soon... biking, biking everywhere... backing up seeing the beauty of it all.... and gratitude.
